Manual Testing
Software testing is the process of validating and verifying that a software program/application/product meets the client requirement i.e. it works as per the client expectation. The purpose of testing is to detect software failures so that they can be discovered and corrected.
When the testers manually test the software for defects it is referred to as Manual Testing, wherein a tester has to play the role of an end user and use all the features of the software by following a written test plan which leads to set of important test cases.
